The way sun has lost its temper these days, it makes me feel shorts should be declared as the official outfit in schools, colleges and offices. While this doesn't seem to happen anytime until I become the Prime Minister, fbb came up with a super cool campaign to #DropThePants. I am so glad that they did. You guys must have seen the viral video of Vir Das as a news reporter in which even he has #DropThePants to beat the summer heat with fbb. If you are still here, let me tell you that even I am trying my luck. I have taken up the #DropThePants challenge and put together the following looks wearing only fbb apparels from their latest collection. Check them out and tell me which one did you like the most?
1. Checks Love
I clubbed a long red checks shirt with the denim shorts for an easy breezy look. I love how it could be doubled up like a shrug. The feel of the fabric was heavenly. I got home a similar shirt in blue since I already own a red checks shirt. The checks lover in you is bound to fall in love at first sight with this one.
2. Quotes on the go
Shorts and quotes t-shirts are made for each other. With glittery gold being in trend this season, I just had to put together a look for this one. They also have a navy blue colour in this one. It was a hard choice to pick one of the two. However, yellow won over blue as it is the most summery shade. Whenever you are in doubt, never say never to pair a quotes t-shirt with shorts the next time chicas.
3. Boho Vibes
What are summers without white? Denims, white and blue all marry well with each other. If you are a boho lover, this one's going to be your fave look. It is a timeless look and you can never go wrong with this one.
4. Ethnic blues
Wonder what to do about your kurtis when you choose to #DropThePants? Simply tuck them in and pair them up with your shorts like I did for this look. This one turned out to be one the best looks out of all. Experimenting with your outfits which otherwise don't tend to go together has its own pros! Let me know if even you love this one.
5. Nautical Vibes
Nautical is super in this season. It has been one of my most favourite trend of all times. If you are planning to hit the beach, nautical is one trend which you cannot forget to sport. Denim shorts and a nautical shrug like this one is all it takes to set you in vacay mood, agree?
6. Adorable Chic
This pastel pink checks shirts with these super comfy denim shorts made me wish to leave for a picnic with a basket right then. It is the most adorable look out of all and could be your choice for days when you wish to go all cute and chic.
7. Floral Wave
Summers kind of set in a wave of floral prints and outfits. It feels so cool if the print comes on your shorts. I tried to break the rule of not to pair prints on prints with this look. I balanced out the black with the white and the bold rose flower print with a subtle mini tropical one. Seems like someone's ready for a date haa! ;)
8. Champagne Gold
If you are a rule breaker like me, you would love this look. I broke two rules of summer no-nos with this one. One to go shimmery and two to wear black. This one makes it a perfect fit for a party night in summer. The shorts even though black would do their job of ventilation and make you look sexy at the same time. The gold with do its thing of helping you feel the party vibes the minute you put it on! Oh, I have also broken one more rule of pairing gold with silver. These gorgeous fbb sandals can go with almost everything guys.
9. Wrapped In Kimono
Floral is totally my thing. But to top it up I paired a lovely maroon Kimono with it. I wish I could pack my bags and hit the beach in this outfit. Kimonos are a rage this summer. If you don't own one, fbb is where you can find the best one. The fabric is so good, I can stay all day long in this Kimono, trust me on that.
10. Geometric Symmetric
How could I leave this trend out? Geometric prints give a definition to your whole look. This top had a symmetrical print going and with a V neck. It was all good trends rolled into one! I love how this look turned out to be the most classy of them all. What say?
I did this shoot when I visited fbb on World Shorts Day and to my surprise the entire staff of the store was dressed in shorts.
